The Neverending Quilt, Recycle?

So this is a quilt that I have been working on now for almost two years or so.

It's completely handstitched, made out of recycled fabric from thrift stores and fabric that people have passed on to me. And yeah some of it has come from old clothing, which was no longer wearable for one reason or another. When you think about it, it's a great and unique way to recycle.

This leads me to my question:

How green are you?

  1. I lurve your quilts! :-)

We recycle paper, cardboard, lawn cuttings, food scraps, teabags, and glass and plastic bottles.

And then I go and spoil it by running my PC all day and having long hot showers. :P

  2. My grandma quilts like that...love those crazy quilts. :-)

I do what I can. As little plastic as possible, recycle as much as we can, I only use natural skin/hair/face "stuff", no paper plates, etc.

But we're both computer people, gadget lovers & hot shower takers, so I suppose it evens out, unfortunately. We do okay though. ;-)
