Series Spotlight: Opposites and a Giveaway

I'm taking the time to highlight my latest series of novellas published by Siren Publishing. First and foremost while the stories are connected through the characters each can be read alone without any issues.

The premise of the Opposites series is to highlight what happens when two guys meet who are total opposites, and how they overcome the obstacles that threaten to keep them from finding true love with each other. It's a theme that I love to read myself so when brainstorming the series, I thought it was worth writing since I enjoy it so much. The stories are often sweet, but they also pack a whole lot of spice within them.

Below are the first three installments, and I am currently working on a forth that involves a cowboy with a past and his soon to be very unconventional love interest. I'm anticipating a few more installments depending on how the series is received. Story and adult excerpts can be found on Bookstrand's page. Most likely not work safe.

Contest: I'm giving away two e copies of Barbecue and Pillow Talk(Opposites 3). All you have to do to enter is leave a comment along with your email address for contact purposes. The contest will run for one week. Comments are moderated to stomp out spam. They will take some time to show since I have to approve them. Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Blurb: [Siren Allure ManLove: Erotic Alternative Romance, M/M, foot fetish, HEA]

Danny Lyon has never had much luck at romance. After a failed relationship drives him from his hometown, he finds his way into the city only to discover that life doesn't often turn out how you'd like.

Working at a strip club, The Treasure Chest certainly isn't his dream job, but it pays well. Everything is going along fine until he meets Terrence LeBrec, an older man who shows up one night out of the blue. Terrence is rich, laid back, and as the chemistry between them erupts, it also surprises Danny that he's attracted to a man who otherwise isn't his type.

Terrence only went to The Treasure Chest to pass away time. He never expected to meet anyone, but when Danny takes the stage, he's totally taken with the young man who he knows nothing about. He has to meet him. There's something definitely between them. Terrence can't deny it. They have a connection that he can't let go. One hookup leads him to want more.

It doesn't take a lot of time for Danny to realize how different their lives really are. Why would a guy like Terrence who has everything going for him be interested in a guy like him? It doesn't make sense. They come from different worlds—perhaps too different.

Will what brought them together tear them apart? They're opposites in every way possible. Will love conquer all?

Blurb: [Siren Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative May-December Romance, M/M, HEA]

They hit it off from the start. As the chemistry between them starts to sizzle, they both realize they share common life goals even though in many ways they're opposites.

When sudden tragedy strikes. Craig is forced to face his past. From tragedy comes a chance to do the very thing he's always wanted. When offered the family bakery business, Craig jumps at the opportunity and comes to the conclusion that all things are possible with lots of hard work, even if he is unsure about certain things. He turns to Glenn, who has a great head for business. Glenn becomes his rock. The future's looking bright. All things are possible with lots of hard work and the right man at his side.

Blurb: [Siren Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Romance, M/M, HEA]

Ben Charmer's life up to now hasn't gone the way he figured it would. After years of hiding in the closet married to a woman, he's now on his own after an amicable divorce.

Dave Heatherington once had it all, or so he'd initially thought. Caught up in a nasty past relationship that's ended, he's left scarred and bitter.  Starting life anew in a small town, he's bought a large Victorian dilapidated inn that needs a lot of work.

Ben's great with his hands. Doing the work on the inn itself isn't too hard, but being in the company of the inn's hot new owner proves to be a bigger challenge than he'd initially thought.

Things quickly heat up as the two men confide in each other about their mutual pasts and hidden secrets. For one thing, Ben isn't out. But an upcoming event might change all that and their lives forever.

  1. I love reading romances where opposites attract, be because of their jobs, status in life, lifestyle or even age differences. Maybe because it gives the story a bit of an angst, as well as some sugar with spice, but then you can enjoy their journey and how it works out for them (eventually), rather where it runs smoothly.

Thank you for a chance to win a copy of Barbecue & Pillow Talk and I have these series to my wish list :) slholland22 {at} hotmail {dot} com

  2. Looks like a great series. I'm adding it to my TBR and wishlist. Thank you for the chance to win a copy of your newest book in the series.

  3. Another series to add to the reading list. Have read a couple of Xondra's work, and liked it, so I'm sure I will like this series as well.

  4. I too enjoy stories of opposites. The irony in that is that at first my DH & I thought we were opposites when we first met so many years ago. We may both be opposites in some aspects, but we are both Capricorns, and we learned that despite the differences that we had more in common than not.
I love your work, and have this series on my gotta have list.
Thank you for the give away! Wishing you all the best & continues success!

  5. Oh this sounds like such a fun series. Watching opposites come together is so entertaining!

  6. The winners are: Pommawolf Emeraldwolfeyes and Elizabeth. Congrats! I hope you enjoy! Many thanks to all those who took the time to enter.
